A poem on hope

In this poem, "the voices of the moon" refer to the heavenly voices which inspire a person to become better. These voices need not come from angles, they come from inside us to give us hope and strength. They help us to believe in ourselves and when we know that we are enough,  enough for the world, this belief, even ignites more and more and we know that we are walking in the right direction. I hope you liked this poem , please share it with your friends.

How to submit to literary magazines?

All poets and writers wish to see their works published in some prestigious magazines but most of us fail because we don’t know the right way to submit our work. So, here are some simple tips which if followed can help you publish your work in a good magazine.

1. Read submission guidelines

This is the most important element which should be taken seriously and should be strictly followed. Most writers just blindly send their work without reading the guidelines and end up getting rejected. You must understand that they are given for a reason the more you follow them, the more are your chances to get published.

2. Include a cover letter

Even though nowadays most magazines don’t ask for it but you should still include a cover letter and a bio to look professional. It gives the idea of how serious you are to the editor.

3. Stick to the genre

Again, a simple thing that most fail to understand. You should try to stick to the genre or else you will appear irrelevant.

4. Follow the word limit

Many people face rejection just because they don’t keep the word limit in mind. You should just strictly stick to it and should not exceed it or write less than the prescribed word limit.

I hope these tips will be useful for you in the future and will help you in your writing journey. If you like them don’t forget to share them and please comment down below on how would you rate this post out of 5 stars.

Thank you. Have a great day ahead.💖

Haiku poem: A poem on love

You must be wondering can  three lines make a poem? The short answer is - "Yes". These poems are called "Haiku." They are usually of 3 lines and these 3 sentences speak a lot and contain a lot of meaning.  They are said to be originated from Japan.  Here, is my Haiku on love ( first meeting) and it's interpretation.  Interpretation: This poem talks about love, when you meet the person you love for the first time. The line " Stars aligned" refers to the call of destiny or the divine timing.  The line " Sky blushed and the moon smiled" refer to the fact that the universe knows what's happening and everything happens according to the Divine 's will.  Thank you for reading this post.  Please like, share and follow.  Follow us on Pinterest

A poem about life.

My new poem Summer’s gone is based on the ending of one phase of life and the beginning of other. This old phase of life can be your comfort zone where you made memories, made some friends, and felt pain and fear which helped you to learn some new lessons. Now, with these new lessons, you will be ready to come out of your comfort zone and start a new beginning. The central theme of the poem is letting go of old life and everything related to it so that you can start a new chapter. The poem talks about leaving your comfort and starting growing in life with all the lessons you collected. I have kept this poem very short and it is easy to understand. If you too like this poem then please rate it out of 5. Thank you. Have a nice day.
